Clarifying Cleansing Oil - Rosemary and Oat

If your skin is blemish-prone, or you are suffering a break-out, the best thing you can do is to keep it really clean and resist the temptation to ‘dry it out’. An oil cleansing routine is best because it keeps your skin thoroughly clean and balanced without making it dry and tight.

VOTARY Clarifying Cleansing Oil hydrates and calms skin, improving recovery time for blemishes. In this formula, lightweight and non-clogging rice bran oil gently exfoliates, while oat oil soothes. Rosemary and bergamot deeply cleanse and lift impurities. Peach and jojoba help healing. As a result, your skin won’t be triggered into producing excessive sebum which can make skin congested and sore. Instead, skin feels clean, soft, calm and healthy.

Blemish Rescue Oil - Tamanu and Salicylic

Blemishes are small, localised infections. Treating them with harsh, drying chemicals doesn't help them to heal. Instead, it triggers the formation of thick, scaly skin. Infection is trapped, the cycle of healing takes longer, and scarring and skin discolouration are worse.

Treating a blemish with pure plant oils is logical. The oil instantly soaks into and softens the skin. The active ingredients can penetrate and get to work quickly.

2% salicylic acid dissolves compacted skin cells and penetrates deep into the pores. It takes with it tamanu oil, a natural, healing antiseptic. Tamanu tackles redness, inflammation, and calms infection. Skin stays soft and supple which means it's quicker to heal. Scarring and marking is minimised. The skin's mantle speedily feels smooth, healed and healthy.

Radiance Reveal Mask - Lactic and Mandelic Acid

Blemish Rescue Oil - Tamanu and Salicylic

Salicylic acid works by penetrating pores to dissolve dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of blemishes. Tamanu extract has anti-inflammatory effects to soothe irritated skin and to reduce redness. Rice bran oil is rich in Vitamin E for deep hydration and to avoid drying out of the skin.

Clarifying Cleansing Oil - Rosemary and Oat

Put 2 to 3 pumps of oil into the palm of your hand. Spread between your palms and then apply to your face. Start with your cheeks, then your nose, mouth and jawline and finally the area around your eyes. Splash your face with warm water and continue to massage the oil into your face and eyelashes. Now here’s the absolutely crucial part. Take a clean flannel. Soak it in hand-hot water, wring it out, and put it over your face. Breathe in and allow the steam to penetrate your pores.

Then, gently wipe everything away. Repeat if necessary. To finish, splash your face with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel. Follow this with VOTARY Clarifying Facial Oil and VOTARY Blemish Treatment Oil on specific problem areas.

Blemish Rescue Oil - Tamanu and Salicylic

Clever little bottles... there's no need to shake them, tap them or bash them. Simply turn 180 degrees over the palm of your hand and count the drops. Perfect for travelling too.

Place 1 drop of oil on a fingertip and apply in a gentle circular motion to the area affected. Do this twice a day, after cleansing, until your skin has recovered.

Follow this with VOTARY Clarifying Facial Oil.

Radiance Reveal Mask - Lactic and Mandelic Acid

Smooth onto face and neck, taking care to avoid the eye area. Leave on for 5-15 minutes then remove with a damp face cloth. Use twice a week, or as needed. Some tingling may be experienced and is normal. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
